07 fog light mod

Has anybody figured out how to do the mod where the fogs stay on with high beams on an 07? I was reading in the how to and someone said the wire colors are different for 07's and up, but nobody has said anything about how to do it lol.

For 2007/8, you would have to wire it up outside of the SJB to get it to work. This would likely require adding a relay and a few wire tie-ins to bypass the circuit board. Not impossible but definitely a lot more involved than other years.

probably not much help because mine is an 03 but all i did to fix that "problem" was bend a tab over on my relay that caused it to remove the power to my fogs when the brights were switched on. i can go take pictures if you guys want.

99~03 use the bent terminal mod, 2004~2006 add a single jumper wire at the SJB. 2007~2008 is completely different animal and the mod would have to be more extensive.

yes but your putting more load on the circuit so you will probably blow fuses, i ran 4 100w lights off the circuit w/ out the fog lamps and i had to up the fuse rating. probably wasn't a good idea because you risk burning your truck to the ground doing stuff like that

You can do it using a relay and have nothing to worry about.

it's almost as if Ford is noticing people doing this mod and are trying to make it more difficult. (from just bending a tab, (99-03)to adding a wire,(04-06) to doing an extensive mod.(07-08)
