ok so im going to chip guard my truck from the body line down to the bottom of the truck. and i want some opinions on if i should go with red like my truck, or use the paint code CX from 06>?? I like the idea of something different. and would have any issues with color match. I work at a body shop so i'll do it and what not. i was going to paint some masking papper the CX and put it next to the truck to see if i liked it or not. Plus i;m goin to paint the fender flairs CX anyway for something different.

What paint code is CX? I don't know every code.

E4 (red) and i would like CX (gray metallic) on the lower half of the truck like a 2006 would have!! Please. maybe the fender flairs in CX too if thats possible?

No not really if you want to try black go ahead but i think ill just get a good match, plus theres a good body line that should help out. I was just trying to keep cost down being red is the most expensive solids..

 

Yeah? thats not to bad actually it looks more gray to me but i was thinking black before anything until i seen a DSG ranger.. The chip guard is black so coverage would be alot easier then red even though you would normally use a dark sealer.

I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you were going to paint it red?? Or super black? I like the truck though, i want to color match my door handles and tailgate.

 

It already was E4, I was going to paint the rockers black.
