2004 bumper on 2007?

Well , I managed to stop my truck from going over a 15ft drop by slamming the bumper into the ground on the far side of a rut that was hidden under some snow and ice.

Who else gets stuck on packed down ice in April... Yay Canada.

Anyway, what all would I need to replace my bumper with the nicer looking 04 style with round fogs. I know I'll need the bumper cover and foglights and brackets, but will the actual bumper brackets or whatever be the same?

Thanks for any help guys.

After I made this thread I read yours about getting stuck in snow, in Nevada.

I was pretty shocked.

I was trying to cross a spot in the thick packed ice on the trail where water had cut through. The front made it up but the back pass side hung on breaking ice and then I slid until more ice broke and front pass wheel fell into a hole where water had washed away the ground.

Pretty lucky that it didn't go over the drop, that it didn't tip, and that I got it out with my comealongs.

Also the ground was eroding away as the snow runoff and rain triple teamed me with crap luck and poor preperation.

The best part of being stuck good is being unstuck.

So will the 01-03 bumper bolt up?

I like the round foglights and no grey plastic look.

Yep it will. I don't know if the 07 bumper brackets are the same as the 03 so I would try to get those too.

You can if you want, but I'm probably not going to take it off until I find a donor for the bumper, and then I should be able to see and possibly take the brackets too.

So theeres no hurry, thanks though!

definitely go with a valance with the round fog lights. They look so much better.

There's one across the street from a friend's house. The 01-03 all red and round foglights... and no dent. It's too bad stealing is wrong!

If I can't find one cheap, I will probably look into something custom.
