2009 XLT No Fog Lights Valence??

I really wanted fog light on my Ranger but this low mileage 2009 came along with almost everything else I wanted. My 3 days of ownership, and surfing the web, leads me to ask if the lower front valences below the bumpers are all the same? Sure looks like it to me.

I have been a motor head since high school, and I am an electrical engineer, so the idea of installing the fog lights is a no brainer. The so called, round vent covers are held in place by 3 screws/bolts as are the OEM light fixtures I have seen on line.

What do you think?
So all I need are the light fixtures, wiring harness, relay and OEM headlight switch w/ fog switch.

Any chance the wiring is there already just waiting for me to hook it up?

ive played around back there on mine, and saw nothing to indicate ford would have spent the money to wire them all for fogs when they didnt have too.

The alloy rims was the other thing I didn't get that I wanted. The Vista Blue Metallic is sharp. Thanks.

It's hit or miss if the wiring is there or not. Some trucks have 'em....some don't. Personally, i've only experineced trucks that didn't have the wiring(besides my factory equipped fog truck). The valence is the same. Those 'covers' unbolt or unclip from the valence then you bolt on the light. You're stuck to 08+ foglights and those are not cheap. Personally, if it were me, I'd wire those bad boys to a seperate switch mounted inside above your cubby hole in front of the shifter, under the radio bezel. That makes the wiring job easy and it wires up just like any old light add-on. Just rmeember to add a relay.

I am spoiled by the Ford OEM headlight/fog light switch on my Lincoln MKX, or should I say my wife's MKX. If I do the retro on the XLT I think I would go the extra mile and change out the original headlight switch.
