New SST tonneau cover ?'s
Got this from ebay today .. installs good except for the front or back its almost like its a inch too short..and i cant get the snaps anywhere near where they need to go.. Is it a cold problem i wonder.. like if i heated up the cover would it flex more?

take it inside and put it next to the heat register and get it nice and hot....welcome to the world of CHEAPLY made tonnue covers. i have owned two cheap covers did the same thing NEVER fit well and they where extreamly tight... then bought myself an extang cover... will never buy a cheap cover agian....

They can be a real pain on a cold day with no sun... On sunny days, they go on real easy.
Usually, the plastic snaps in the rails have a bit of an offset. So you can just slide them out and put them back in "upside down" so that the snap is closer to the top of the rail. This way you don't have to stretch the tonneau as much. (at least that's how my extang cover is made)

yeah thats what i figured.. i think it was off the truck it came on a while too.. i just needed something to keep the elements off my gear when i drive from Newfoundland to Ontario.. works great, didnt cost a arm and a leg.. it doesnt use metal snaps.. its use a kind of platic snap/rail system as seen here

I have one with the snap-rail things, not actual snaps, and for the price I got it (free with the truck ) I love it. I managed to break the corner pieces that hold the rails together, but I should have a fix for those here pretty soon.
If you're not going to be getting into the bed often, $90 is a pretty sweet deal.
