Line-X vs. Rhinolining

Line-X vs. Rhinolining
Iv been shopping around for a nice quality bedliner. I started with the one thats probably best known: Rhinolining. So I called around and it was actually pretty funny. I wanted the bed done plus over the rail.
First call: $500 for the bed and $80 over the rail.
Second: $530 bed, $50 over the rail
Third: $550 bed and $30 over the rail
Basically it was gonna be $580 no matter where I went. Iv heard some good reviews from Rhinolining but obviously, they are pretty pricy. I dont want a Walmart special $80 slap on job thatll last til the first time I haul something. I want quality and decent pricing.
I saw on here where Handyman recently got his Ranger Line-Xd and he loves it.
So heres the question: which is better? I need anyones opinion thats got one or know someone whos got one.
Thanks a ton!

if you search around here you will see that this topic has come up a few times. at any rate, i would take the Line-X 1000 times over the Rhino. every Rhino lining ive seen doesnt look near as nice, fades quickly and does not hold up like Line-X. A co-worker had his truck Rhino lined around the same time i had mine Line-X'd and while mine still looks brand new a few years later, his is badly faded, chipping in spots and peeling in others. he has said he wished he had gone Line-X. I had my enclosed trailer Line-X'd before I had my truck done and after dragging my snowmobile with the carbide ski runners and track studs over it, dragging furniture, steel, tractors, snowblowers, rocks, concrete among other things it doesnt even have a scuff anywhere on it. Its good ****.

But i like the calling round idea. I might have to see if that would work

Look into Monstaliner. Stuff isn't nearly as abrasive as rhino liner or line-x, and can be done for about $150. Gauranteed not to fade either for 5 years. I am very happy with mine (i did the bed and the rocker panels, pm if you want picks), Or you can double the coating for $240. From what I can tell this sheet is durable.
If I were to pick line-x or rhino liner, I'd pick the line-x...fades less and is more durable from what I have seen with my own two eyes.
However both WILL fade no matter what b/c they have ground up tires in them to provide the final texture. And rubber fades in UV rays, it cannot be stopped (though both companies claim they have products that will prevent it, for a fee of course).
Black kyrlon fixes faded beliner real quick for cheap though.....
My eyes tell me line-x will outlast rhino lining.

This is false, Line-X does not contain ground up tires, the texture is achieved by the installer and how he/ she manipulates the spray gun, not anything in the liner itself. Line-X can be applied smooth if chosen to do so by the person with the spray gun. It comes as a two part mixture that is mixed in the head of the gun and begins to harden almost immediately which allows the installer to build up the thickness and texture.

I just had Line-X done on my 11. Had the premium and over the rail. $630 with the AAA 10% discount. The places I knew that did Rhino have stopped. Don't know why but was told a few things that I can not confirm so I will not repeat. A Friend had Rhino and they sprayed everything. The Line-X people in Massachusetts removed all hardware and bolts on the bed and tailgate. So there will be no problem removing them if need be. Line-X does a Hot Spray. Rhino just started Hot Spray I have been told and not all dealers do it. I have not heard of anyone complaining about the durability of either one.

By what everyone is saying Line-X is better and cheaper! I like the sound of that. I called a place nearby about Rhinolining and and they said theyre running a special right now for $250 over the rail. I almost crapped myself. I asked how long the special was runnin and they said til the end of the week... Why do I have to be broke!!!
