bed tent?

I was looking at getting a bed tent for my truck for some 4-wheeling trips we’re planning this year. I was wondering though if they make one for a step side bed? Anyone have a similar set up? If not, I guess its back to the dome tent setup lol

You could always get a cap for camping in. I bet the tent is bigger than the bed of your truck though. Steppie beds are small.

Its still the same distance between the wheel wells.

They do lose a fair amount of space around them.

Im sure the short bed ranger tent would fit.

For that price i got a monster 10 person tent. However, it was on sale.

YMMV

it might fit but it would be all droopy and **** and the straps wouldnt work right ... i definitley wouldnt want to try my tent in adverse conditions on a stepside.

Is it a stepside? If not, I'm prolly just gonna get a regular old dome tent. You can get a decent size dome tent for as much as you'd pay for a bed tent and it might not even fit right in a stepside.

You wouldnt want one unless it's just you sleeping in the bed.
I have one too, and my girl and I tried to share it. Not enough room between the wheel wells, (and she's 4'10, 90 lbs)

I emailed the Sportz / Napier Enterprises people 3-4 years ago about them making one for stepsides. The answer was that it was probably never going to happen.
