billet grille install

FINALLY installed my billet grille. 3 grilles, many of phone calls, and one ugly gutter grille guard later... here it is. I actually kinda don't like it. I think it's too much chrome. What do ya'll think?

It looks alright, but ya a bit too much chrome I think. Maybe you could paint it.

I like the grille. If its too much chrome for you then do something like paint bull bar.

I think next I'll try to paint the outer grille part the truck color. Looks too much like one of those fancy Lincolns.

I might remove the oval tomorrow to see if that helps.

I like your stock one way better. If it was me, I would've put some stainless/mesh inserts in the stock grille. But if you like it then stay with it.

Not really a fan. Is there a way to possibly mod the billet part of the new grille behind the stock grille? That might look good.

Nice effort dude but I like the stock better. Maybe if you could paint the chrome thing that goes around the billet the color of your truck.

I'm not sure if i can be done. That billet is for a '04-05 grill. I'll look into that tomorrow a well.

I think it looks good. Is it bent on the passenger side?

Hm, Color match the surround, and paint the billet black!
But I like it this way too

Prefer a chrome H-bar to a painted one, but the billet looks pretty good to me. Looks cleaner without the Ford oval too.
