I tinted my own windows. If you have never done it before it might take you a couple times before it accutally looks good. But if done right I works great. I forgot what brand I used.

This guy knows about tinting his own windows. PM him.

I've used the static cling type and the stick on type before, and I really don't like it. Sure it's cheaper then getting it done professionally, but sometimes it pays to let the pro's do it. I got my Ranger done for a good price and it's lasted 9 years now. No peels, rips, waves, decolouring, or drying out.

But to each their own.

The only issue with paying someone to do it around here is that no one will do it at 5%...

If it's a decent shop, they should have waivers that you sign saying that you are aware it is an illegal tint and will not hold the shop responsible should you get pulled over and ticketed.

dude i got mine tinted at 5% just south of jacksonville. theres a place in green cove springs that did mine. they do great work. if you need me to, i can call my bro-in-law and he can take you over there to get it done. they give him the cop discount. they have done my truck, both of his, their mustang, and like all of his friends trucks. lemme know man. great work.
