So I picked up this 1989 ranger 4x4 for 500$ I started to tear it down. I noticed some rust around the windshield. Once I go the headliner out I could really see the damage. The whole roof is completely rusted out. Does anyone know where I can buy already fabed steel so I can cut and weld new stuff in?

The windshield frame is a joint area where many pieces of sheet metal meet. Its not something you can just buy as one patch panel. I know it's not what you want to here but you are better off just finding another cab from a junkyard or a wrecked truck. Even if you could repair that, there's pretty much a 100% chance the windshield will never seal again.
