I bought the SD third brake light off here from TREPAUL86. He is the man, this is a original Ford Motor Company light in excellent condition it looks brand new! Any way props to Trevor! lol

I stole the idea from Bwester I believe...he ran it back in like 06ish07ish. Then he sold the truck with the third, then I found one finally, then i was the only one with it for a year here. lol. Then trevor found like 20 of 'em. lol.

I have the smoked LED 3rd brake light, but the clear lens matches my setup.

I should be on that list! I installed it around Christmas 2008 when I got it.

 

Its Macro not micro if it was micro we couldnt see it.

Red part of the lense is more clear, and the reflectors are a little different, resulting in a brighter third light. ANd...it's ALOT better looking compared to the regular one... When I first put mine one, went over to Trevors to compare. Mine was significantly brighter and more vibrant red if i remember correctly. Both were still running the 906 incandescants.

Top: 06+ Super Duty

That's even a new one on the bottom Shane... And it still looks nothing like the SD one!

Shoot...you can pull it off a 09 if you wanted to....99+ super duty thirds fit rangers. Sport Tracs too.

I've only seen it on select 06's (FX4's SCREW's so far) and 08 and 09... Don't really find many 07's anywhere... Even then, it's not on every 08 and 09 I've seen at a JY.
