I am going to buy the chrome bulbs off the autolumination. You are using the chrome bulbs for the corner lamps? Im unsure of what they do exactly.. :/

"906 Signal/Marker Bulbs.
Chrome coated natural glass Xenon filled.
Looks transparent in clear lenses and lights up with color indicated."
Are those the ones i need? Apparently "906"replaces lots of lights including "914" which is the corner lamp.

6k heads and fogs was my 2nd choice. 3rd choice was 8k heads and 3k fogs. I ended up going with 8k heads / now just bought 8k fogs. I feel that 6k for both is legit and i have seen it on most offroading trucks. Keep in mind the higher you go after i think (4300k) you are just loosing the amount of light out ( your just getting different temps = diff color )
I feel my 8k lights looks more clean and race type. 6k for me was just too white and looked 'average' besides HIDs having that crisp look. I wanted head turning lights.

What is the difference between 35w and 55w. I know they run at the same temp. Lots of same features. But that amount of amps or wats coming in is a couple volts higher? What does this produce? A brighter hid?

Are you sure the corner lamp is 914 or 149? I went to Autozone today and bought a clear bulb for like 5 bucks and the number is #194 and it looks like the right size bulb. I also ordered the chrome bulb off of autolumination and i ordered the 914 bulb since you said that in one of your posts.
Is this correct? If not no biggie, the chrome 914 light was like $10

35w vs. 55w
* Bulbs burn brighter, might lose a small amount of life - but you wouldnt notice since they last so long.
* Color temp drops down with it burning brighter - a 4300k burns a bit more white, 300k a bit more yellow. Enhances the color aspect your looking at.
* Same mounting size, its a teeny bit bigger - but nothing to stop mounting where you normally would.
I.E - I just installed my own 3000k fog lights a minute ago, and removed the internal hexagon reflector to produce more light at the street level, and I used full 55w ballasts that I had from my 9007-4 setup - now running a full 55w on my 6000k heads (Will step to 4300k once I find the right bulb type), and 55w on my 3000k fogs.

Which part number did you get 194? cause i ordered the 914 and supposedly it wont fit my ranger.. or the automlumination girl "tracey" said it will still fit but i will need to modify a certain section so the bigger bulb will fit,
You'll like those headlights and corners, good choice. As for the fogs though, you get a FAIL!!! Did you even read the auction, or were you going to add them to the truck without removing the stock fogs? LOL
Too funny. Keep us posted with pics!!

Your turn signal bulbs are 3457's and the corner bulbs are 194's. I have no clue what 914's are but they DO NOT go anywhere near the signals or corner lights. Next time you see "Tracey", slap her!!

You need to read up on you Ranger BEFORE buying and modding parts. This usually helps...LMAO!!

Just installed my fogs and new black headlights, looks great. Ran into a few issues especially aligning the headlights and fogs. It seemed the fog lights were shining way high up, and my headlights were pointed down so i could only see about 10-12 feet in front of me. I tried using the screw and tighting it on both side of the headlight and yeah the lights moved up a bit, but only by an inch or so. How do i get them aligned properly?
Also its getting late here and ive stopped worked for tonight. Ill post pics in the morning.
@rolldog, i look up every part (usually) if its something cheap like a corner lamp bulb then when (someone ) on the forum tells me 914 i just went ahead and bought that. Not his fault. It was my fault for not checking the part number

Late? haha well ive been working on my lights for the past 6 hours or so. I am little worn out. How much does it cost for a shop to aim them?
