Bed liner?WV

Hello
I just picked up a 2005 FX4 last week
So i removed the bed liner to my surprise
the tailgate screws are to long to repace
anyone got a idear for replacements?

I bought some a while back when I bought my '07... take a look at your local parts store's trim screw assortments. I think they were M6.3 or something odd like that. I got mine from work (CarQuest) and we had them on the shelf.

Ok thanks i had stoped at autozone guy showed me lic plate bolts they fit so i have the heads
primed up as i plan to do a paint in bed coating I can't stand plastic bedliners had lots of spots
that needed to fix due to that plastic bedliner!

Good to hear! I never thought of license plate bolts... makes sense though as they're the same size!

Was doing some work on truck today i counted 18 places the liner rubed
thu paint to the Metal.

Not too surprising... I've never been a fan of the drop in liners. Line-X is the way to go!
