Bumper mod?

I had my bumper off yesterday to pull out the bumper mount that was pushed in from a fender bender, my tire was rubbing the valance when turning. So I thought that I might as well
take care of that bumper gap at the same time. Am I missing something here? it seems as though the bumper is already as high as it will go, the only way I can see getting the bumper up any higher would be to elongate the slots on either the bumper bracket or the mount itself.
Is this how it is done? I cant acces the bumper mod how to anymore, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

you can elongate the holes and sneak the bumper up more. the "mod" is more of a fix on some trucks that came with the bumpers installed all the way down in the factory holes leaving a large gap.

Alright thanks, I guess I was right then, I think I will just live with the gap the way it is, I am just happy I was able to get the bumper mount pushed back out , was able to get the hi-lift jack in between the frame and the bumper mount and pushed it back out, worked great.
