Bumper question

I am trying to paint as much of the plastic as I can blakc on my truck. I have an 01 step side ranger and it has that plastic piece on top of the back bumper. It also has the two smaller step pieces on the side of the truck. Does anyone know if you can remove these and then re install them without it making them loose. I would like to paint thm black cause they are faded a little bit, but I dont want to risk them flapping in the breeze later on. Thanks for your help guys

IMHO… use DuPont Paint Products, general use they are great.

Clean the part with basic soap and water and let dry.
Spray on DuPont Adhesion Promoter and let dry per directions on can.
Spray on DuPont Trim Paint, watch to make sure it is the correct color you want.

Yes, you can remove them. My advice... take the bumper off. It's much easier to get the top part off that way. Then do what Scrambler said... clean it, use good paint. Be careful when squeezing the tabs, they CAN break off. I think I had 2 break on me. No biggie, it's not loose.
