I have an 86 Ranger. I rebuilt it when I was in high school and it is time to do a little touch up work. The hinge pillars have rotted out on the cab, right where they bend to meet up with the rocker panel. I have tried to find them from Ford but they have been discontinued.

Does anyone know where I can find them, or some way I can make something work?

I have been looking at the running boards for explorers, because they seem to have the bend, but I don't want to buy go on a wild goose chase, just wondering if anyone else has had this issue? or might have a solution?
