Usually if HID's did not come in the vehicle from the factory, they are considered illegal. There are ways to make them legal for vehicles that did not come with them but they can be a pain. Most of the bulb replacement kits disperse the light out where it can blind some drivers. In my opinion, the alignment of the headlight can help with this but you need to be careful.

Chances are there is no law about it. Unless the state of Georgia has adopted the FMVSS standards as law (unlikely), then chances are that if you aren't blinding people and they aren't some messed up color, you are fine.

i have had mine and friends have had theres in MASS and NH i called the local PD and the State police for MASS and NH and they both said that there is no law against them and i have just a diamond cut housing and 8000k in Both my headlight and fogs.

i just had to get the HI/Low to pass inspection my low =HID and my High is a reg halogen 100w bulb.

no one has been pulled over for headlights that i know of because of blinding or color and ppl around me have the bright pink/purple ones and the cops dont care.

id say call your local PD and state police barrics

thanks for the info moster, im in Mass too and I am looking to order a set of 6000K HIDs for my blackout headlights and was not sure on HID laws in mass.

I was looking into getting just the low beam setup since I have silverstars in the fogs. Is it worth getting the bi-xenon HID or dual HID with projectors for hi or will I not be using my hi beams that much?

I also have 2 100W slimlite driving lights that I am mounting onto the bull bar once the weather gets a little better so I could also flip those on if I needed to
