Cold air intake?

Cold air intake?

Just want to make sure this kit will fit my 00 xlt 3.0L and if yall think its worth havin a cold air intake. Will i notice a difference in power or sound? Thanks a lot.

You will probally notice a difference in sound(like a sucking air kinda noise) and you should notice a little better throttle responce.

Yeah that'll fit your 3.0L, it should make your truck sound better when you really 'get on it'.

So what is a good Intake system... I know K&N but Ive seen others boasting about more Power Gains.... which ones are the best?

I think the power gains are all similar, it doesn't really matter which one from what I've read, I went with MAC cuz it has a shiny chrome tube, with K+N i think your just paying for a name, and then you can make your own or volant is another option

sounds great, and ya, it gives a lil better response
and.....well, when u get a cai, ur not getting it for milage...lol
thats what i thought at first...

loud system=better gas milage
