So I was wondering what you guys think about this...

The 4x4 TTB font suspension in the pre +'98 rangers seems to have more ability, cheaper components/mods, and is easier to SAS swap than the IFS trucks, but I like everything else on my '03 Edge. The interiors are the same from '95-'97, plus you can get a manual t-case

What would it take to convert the styling of the '95-'97 to that of the '01-'03 Edge?

youd need all the standard parts to do a 01-03 swap.

header panel, lights, grille, bumper etc

BUT youd need to cut your frame horns off, and weld on 98+ horns, since the bumpers bolt on differently

 

or could make new mounts. there is a lifted 93-97 ranger with a newer bumper on it. i will try to find a pic
