Cost to repaint bumper?

Long story short, someone scraped some paint off my front bumper. He unforunately was still parked next to me as I got off work. So I got his full information and will be taking it by the dealership for an estimate tonight.

So how much is it to repaint the front bumper? Just curious what to expect. I don't see any physical damage, except a deep paint chip and the missing paint of course.

It's really sad too, it's maybe a finger nail worth of paint chipped, but the whole thing has to be repainted. Oh well, you can see how he caused it...

dude, every dealership has a "touch up" guy, schmooze to the service manager or the used car manager, and talk to the guy. should be able to get it done for $100 for the whole bumper, maybe less if he just does that spot and blends.

If your local high school has an auto paint/body class you could probably get it done for the cost of paint.

Well I'm not paying, he is, so money isn't the concern, just that it's repaired the right way.

im getting my "wreck mod" done (just bought a bumper, valance, and fogs for 125) the cost will be $346.13, they add special **** (flex additive) and use PPG 3000 & 4000 paint. I was also told they take these kind of bumpers apart for looks. Also im getting the fukc ups Ford done taken care of for free (mudflap mark) also haveing those little plugs that fill the holes painted, for free, and some chips. But they gave me some bad news too, they said my frame could be bent -_- Mother F_c_er

I just got into a "fender bender" myself, well broke my valence and the piece that covers the gap between the bumber and grille, but did $3000 worth to her car.

Hah, he couldn't wedge that Mazda in there? He deserved to hit you, but it sucks that you get screwed and have to repaint.
