i think the 6k was a good idea, but the raptor kit wasnt, those balasts suck. should opted for the couple more bucks and got the slim balasts.

they do make driving at night a whole lot better tho huh?

i would have but know one ever told me the difference between the slims and the raptor kit...i thought it was just size and i wasnt worried about size....but what makes these suck...they do hum a little...is that something that the slims dont do? w/e they have a life time warranty to s im not too worried about it...they are defiantly better that stock...now i just need to get some driving lights wired up to my highs and figure out how to make the low's stay on they i push the lever away from me...( they stay on if i pull it toward me but not if i push it away where it will stay)...

the slims hum, buzz slightly, im pretty sure all hids do tho. the problem said to be had with the raptor kit is that they dont fire all the time....so "they" say. if they work thats awsome. never the less there is a way, i think if you tap the high beam fuse or line, it will trigger the other lights and keep your lows on. thats how my buddy has his but he has regular bulbs....

ya idk..i have had it done at the local les schwaab like 4 times....and my tires still look like / \....the last time i just said **** it and figured that was how it was supposed to be....then about 3 months later i noticed my tires were wearing funny and went back in....they said for another $50 they could check it out. and i said they havent even got it right once why would i pay you to do it again? he then looked at the paper work and said that these trucks have some negative camber...and i said that i backed into my spot and it didnt look as bad (it was worse if i was driving forward before i stopped) and he said that because of the toe in it will look like that when i backed up...i then went home and measure my toe with a tape measure...i had .75 of an inch toe out...so i have been messing with it and had it about perfect at 1/8 inch toe in but they i broke my rack and pinion offroading on Thursday....so i had to take my tie rods off and am having to mess with it again....i think im going to have a guy at my shop do it tho so i know its right....but ya thought it was weird that my tires are tilted like that...but setting the toe helped a lot....figured the bigger tires and especially the wheel spacers just made it like that a little...lol

did they install the camber kit. i had the same issue and the camber kit dialed it out. dont mess around with the dicked up camber cus you will kill those tires quick.

lol aligments arent a one and done deal. ESPECIALLY if youre offroading. hence the 30 day warranty on the alignment

honestly im shocked to hear they even tried aligning it with the spacers. i work at schwabs we arent supposed to touch those....lol

haha i know i shoulnt say this but find a shop that offers a lifetime warranty on the alignment. usually they'll charge more for the first one but then its either free or like $10 after that.

I would go somewhere else because it shouldn't be going out of alignment like that unless you have other front end issues and if there is something screwed up they should tell you before they try and align it

negative, it shouldn't be getting off that easy, I and plenty of others have banged around on rocks and not had any problems with the truck getting way off. Should be rare that is gets that bad

but end of thread hack

Looks good. I have 6000K headlight and 3000K fogs and i love it. The Raptor ballasts have a lifetime warranty so if they sh*t the bed, just give them a call
