Ditch the Fender Flares ?

Ok so i was wondering if anyone ditched the fender flares. I plan on painting my truck with herculiner soon and im not sure if i wanna ditch the flares or keep em. So if you could post pics of your truck with no fender flares to help me decide i would appreciate it. So do you think it would look good or leave them. I would gain a little more tire room but other but also lose protection from rocks.(which im not worried about b/c of the herculiner.)

Paint your truck with bedliner????? The entire thing???

Dude that's gonna seriously impact your fuel economy..
IMO it looks absolutely stupid...
Leave it white.... just do the rockers if you're gonna do anything....

haha No sir not the whole truck that would be something. I was undecided weather to paint half way up to the body line or tape off about 6"up from the bottom. I have some door rot that needs fixed and im not the best at body work, but herculiner does a good job at hiding flaws so i figure thats what i would do.

id only ditch them if you know how to do body work or know someone who will hook you up to fill the holes. otherwise leave them on or it will look like crap just like that monster sticker

LOL! I was thinking the same thing. I mean the blue on white colors look pretty good together imo. But why do people put these monster stickers on their vehicles??? I saw a jeep parked at wal-mart the other day with 3 of them plastered on his body, and a small one on his window. Yes thats right 4 monster stickers on one car, it was totally brotastic.

C'mon guys its just a freaking beverage! I'm gonna get a green mountain coffee sticker and put it on my Ranger, that and a poland spring sticker. Represent HAHAHAHAHA

I did the very bottom of my rocker panels with rustoleum bedliner. It has a nice smooth finish too it and is pretty durable. Herculiner on the other hand is prettty rough and chunky.

I had to bedline it as all the paint had been chipped off the bottom panels and was starting to rust. My truck is white like yours and it looks ok. Make sure you do several light coats followed by a heavy one, or you'll have to do it all over again when it starts to wear. If you are not sure, I'd say do a little bit before you do halfway up the body. Like just up to the rocker panels, see if you like it. Also keep in mind that bedliner loves to get dirty and stay dirty. Its a bitch to clean mud off it compared to regular paint/clearcoat.

Don't get me wrong, its a tasty drink haha. But people go overboard here in Ct with those things. Theres a guy that lives near me with a "souped" up civic. He has a monster hat, monster hoodie and a huge monster sticker in his back window. When he gets out of his monster car wearing his monster merchandise, I have no choice but to look at him and shake my head in despair. I'm not the type to go up to somebody and be like "hey man you look like a douche" To each his own right???

I'd leave the fender flares on for sure dude. You could also mask them off and paint them as well, even bedline them if you have the courage. I used rustoleum bedliner on my bumper valance and it looks brand new. Keep in mind that the herculiner will a have chunky texture, like extra chunky peanut butter. Sorry 'bout the sticker bashing....pet peeve of mine, that and those spoilers that people put on their trucks tailgate...
