It depends on what kind of deal you cna get or what connections you have. You can probally go to a junk yard and get a hood off of a totaled truck and paint it for less than an aftermarket hood.

Check the dealer too, I am not kidding you might be surprise, some stuff like body panels is actually reasonable. I would call my buddy at the dealer and ask what he'd quote me, but I want him to remain a buddy and if I keep calling him with bogus questions, that probably won't be happening.

haha well i like the raised style of the edge hood, i have no connections, and aftermarket style hoods will run me 6 or 7 hundred bucks. so i was thinking to check out ford, and if it did fit, i would buy a replacement i guess, and pop it on, hopefully it would be cheaper

Shouldn't be more than 600 bucks... damn. I would sell you mine for $200 + shipping but it's in florida from a deadbeat buyer... If you are truly interested I could see what I can come up with though. It's black with one or two small scratches but for the most part it's in good shape.

thats swet. My truck is black too, and just idk i don't like those ridicuoulsy raised hoods, with the cowls and **** and think scoops look dumb. But i love the edge hood, PM with more details i might be willing to pay for s/h so

The edge hood is about 460 from a dealer last I checked. My 2000 has one on it and I think it lines up better than the xlt hood. There is a much smaller gap between the top of the grille and the hood.
