Exhaust Tips?

Hey everyone, I've gotta quick question.

My dad just bought a new muffler for his truck (Magnaflow) & we're looking for some tips. His drives an '06 F-150 Crew Cab 4x2 with a 4.6. What kind of exhaust tips do you think would look good on this kind of truck?

I don't really like the slash cut tips since everyone has them. I was thinking about a flat tip?

BTW: It's a SI/DO ... 2.5" In & Out

Brenton

How bout "No Tip"

just have the pipe turned down just after the muffler....that will result in a sick sound. Should look like this when you are done:

I like mine. They are short, but I've seen some that were about 12" long. They would look good on a full size rig.

Anything with a rolled edge will look good.

Go with the Thunderbolt tips (ie. these).

what color truck?? Black truck with black bumpers etc......get 3.5" black stainless tips....they'd look sweet. of course, a flat tip without roll. That's my style.

It's 2 tone. Like a red on top w. a goldish bottom.

I know you said you didnt like angle tips but i have them on mine and love it ... they are a rolled tip, 6 inch by 18 inch (granted i have a diesel so you might just want a 5 inch tip)

I'm personally not a fan of the rolled tips, I like the sharper edges

Well, we ended up getting a rolled boxy-looking tip. It looks real clean. Sounds even better!
