My 2001 Ranger king cab has a black molding on top of the outside of the door. The truck is silver. The molding is coming off. I have looked and cannot find any listing for this. Anyone have any idea where I could find a replacement piece.

Search for 98-11 Ford Ranger front door window moldings or front door window weatherstrip or belt weatherstrip and you'll find them.
On eHay search for: 99 thru 11 Ranger OEM Genuine Ford Window Belt Weatherstrip Molding Kit 2pc PAIR and a ton come up at various prices.

Replaced those within the last year or two. You can find some decent aftermarket parts for it.

I would definitely buy the specific tool made for removing the old ones and it will be a pretty easy job.

I pulled all the plastic, wet sanded and painted it flat black...

 

I found the replacement parts and the special tool. Going to give it a try.
