Fender Trim/Flair

I have a 02 Ranger Edge and I was wondering if you can order and add the fender trim or what ever its called (the grey plastic part) on the new rangers and install it I love the look of those. Didn't know if they could be added I've seen some simular aftermarket ones just don't think they look as good.

Nope, the newer Rangers have the holes drilled in different spots. You can drill new holes and it will work.

You don’t have to drill holes, you only need to drill holes in the wheel well lip, it is not necessary to drill holes in the side of the fender. The Toyota Tundra’s and maybe the Tacoma flares do not have holes in the side of the fenders, my dad tore one of his flares off his Tundra and it was attached with double sided trim and using the wheel well lip from the factory, that’s where I got the idea to mount the factory Ford Ranger flares.

My 04 didn’t come with flares, I ordered 06 Ranger flares and drilled holes only in the wheel well lip, attached them with the plastic Ford tabs, then used Fender flare trim from Toyota (Toyota Tundra), it attaches to the edge of the flare and has double sided tape which sticks/protects the paint of the fender from getting scuffed up by the flare.

Notice the Toyota Trim
