hail damage....time to fix

so about 2 weeks ago had a pretty strong storm come through the area. golfball sized hail, shredded trees and it was pretty intense. went to state farm the other day and they cut me a huge check, said that the roof got damage and that the hood would need to be replaced. along with dent repair to the fenders and bed and trim strips on the window.

so needless to say, i have more than enough money for this, so i was thinking of going with a powerdome hood, replacing my rear bumper and grille, and possibly getting an edge front end.

cant seem to find the powerdome hood for an 01-03. anyone know the parts number or somewhere i can find one for a decent price?

Too bad you didn't live closer, i have a spare powerdome no one wants to buy....

it'll be really expensive if you buy it from the dealer. Might get lucky at some junkyards though. Plus you could probably get the rest of your stuff.
Check certifit.com for some of the parts. They are priced really great, but you have to pick them up from their stores.

well i looked at certifit and the only hood that it seems like they stock is the regular non-powerdome. of course this is according to the catalog which might or might not be correct.

i guess it wouldnt be so bad getting it from the dealer, seeing as how i dont think it would ever be possible to use the entire check.

i also checked on ebay, but its so hard to tell from the pictures i could find as to what type of hoods the different sellers had.

Yeah, certifit doesn't have the powerdome, but everything else you'd need though. Dealers might have it. Check junkyards and classified on forums for it. Also craigslist.
Doubt ebay has them, they always seem to be the flat metal hood.
