Warn Trans4mer

Warn Trans4mer
I've been looking at the grille guard and winch carrier on the Warn website and the product info states that it fits up to 2003 Rangers. Does anyone have a Trans4mer guard/carrier set up on a newer Ranger? Say, a 2007 FX4?
I like the look of the Trans4mer a lot, but if it doesn't fit the 07s, is there anything similiar out there? Mile Marker, Ramsey?
Cheers,
D., but not that D.

It will fit, there is a guy on here that has one, look in the "introduce yourself" threads, he was from Ga. Oh, and look for member "martiangod," thats who I sold my set up to, I think his truck is an 06 or 07, cant remember.
I had the Warn set up, it was for a 98-00 ranger, I put it on my 01, bought my 04 and put it on it. Everything bolted right up, just had to trim the valance.

Here is the Mile Marker winch carrier. It says up to an 04 but will work for newer years too.

Warn is cheaper than MM by $220. Well, according to the Warn site and the TRS site, that is.
I saw a Warn Trans4mer on an Edge last week. It was chrome/SS, but the Warn site lists black only. It would be nice to find one in chrome/SS.
The headlight guards were wrap-around at one point, but I don't remember which years. Up to 98, I think. If they were still wrap-around, I would consider getting them as well. I agree that the straight ones just don't look all that great.
Anyway, thanks for the info and the pics. Anyone else with winch set-ups they'd like to show?
Cheers,
D.

Chrome will cost you a lot more. What about a front hitch with a multi-mount or are you wanting a grill guard set-up?? Thats what I would have if I didnt have the front bumper that I have now. Here are some pics of my 93 and 04, the 93 has the front hitch (It has a 3" BL, so it will look a little different on yours) and the 04 is of the rear, just to give you an idea of the advantage of being able to pull from the front and rear if needed. If you get a front hitch on your year model the reciever will fit in the opening between the bumper and the valance, the front hitch on my 93 sits/looks low because of the body lift.

I hadn't really thought about a front hitch receiver(they bolt to the existing tow hook mounts, yes?), or a receiver mounted winch. On the side of practicality, a receiver mount makes much more sense. When I'm off road hunting or exploring, I'm usually in the mountains and the ability to pull from the front or back would be extremely handy.
However. A grille guard mount just looks better, in my opinion.
I've seem custom bumpers that have a grille guard and front hitch receiver. Is there enough room for such a set up in the stock bumper? Then I could have a grille guard and a receiver mounted winch.
Cheers,
D., another D.

Can't say that I am. Why? You pissed about the "D. another D.", etc.? Seems to me this was already discussed some time ago. A simple letter is a small thing to get pissed off at. Besides, I've been signing my name like that for a long time. I'm not about to give it up.
If you're pissed at the "good D./bad D." thing in particular, go watch Army of Darkness. It was a joke.
Relax. Settle down.
Cheers,
D.
