Front end conversion

been toying with the idea for a front end conversion from a 96 front end to an 02 Edge front end

i've got a list of what i'll need but what has me stuck are the fenders....
would i have to change them to make the conversion possible?

i know i'll need:

bumper and brackets
valence
header panel
headlights
hood?

or has anyone done this to a 3rd gen truck that would like to share some pointers?

i've got the mod bug so if the fenders don't match, i'll find something else...

Just sneak into a parts store and "borrow" all the '06 front end and tail lights. Just make sure to leave a thank you note.
