Front&Rear Bumper Options
So i finally sent my truck to get painted, i guy i know owed me some money and he offered to paint my truck as payment, so all i had to put up was a gallon of jet black paint and some reducer and hardener. Now that its getting painted im thinking of options for my bumpers. I dont think theres much i can do about the rear bumper, maybe just have him paint it black, but i would like some fog lights in the front bumper. What kind of bumpers fit my truck? what years? and what style do you guys prefer?

All 01+ bumpers will fit your ride. I suggest getting a 01-05 EDGE upper metal bumper(paintable) and an 01-03EDGE valence(paintable). DEFINALY do something about that rear bumper. Here, i'm running an EDGE bumper, in 03 i believe, your XL trim truck came with the newer, more modern looking back bumper.

There's various differences between models/years. Also note the hood differences, grille differences, and we all know the corner light differences. I'll let the pics do the talking. I had to scour all these pics, get 'em hosted, post 'em. Dang, someone give me a twinkie. or a gold star sticker, eh?

when you get your truck painted fill in the ranger and ford badge holes, looks way better imo. Plus if you want to put them back on all you need is 3m automotive tape, and can still take them back off with out having holes.

its been only about 5 days and already im eager to see my truck black, i dont want to rush the painter tho hehe . . i want him to do a good job. i think i am going with the 01-03 edge bumper, i really like that look, and the new rear bumper definately needs to get replaced. hadnt realized how bad it really looked hehe. all badges are going to be taken off. also im going to try to get that emblem in the middle of the tailgate as well . . .
