That Highspire link that was posted above was the place I called. Also they now offer a nationwide guarantee so I should be fine if I ever sell the truck. I was in the bed yesterday because I had to take a couple shots of my cap and clean out the sand bags in the back and I noticed there are no holes (that i can see) where I can mount hooks to. Where can I put some hooks so that I have the ability to use my tie-downs once I get the bedliner sprayed iin?

I'll also have to ask another Line-X dealer and see if prices are pretty much the same and also if they will remove the bolts/etc. like mentioned to do it correctly. Any help on where to put a few hooks so I can use my tiedowns would be great. I could just see myself have to drill a hole and it pop through the exterior of my truck side

Thanks,

ShuckyD

Im actually thinking of purchasing a tub of Rhino and doing my Fender trim in it.. perhaps my Valance as well... I may look at a shop and see if it may be cheaper for me to pull the parts off and have them do it for me... Was tempted to spray paint all of my stuff, but I woudl rather have somethign rugged, durable, and long-lasting.

im starting to get worried about the gas mileage decrease now that I wont have a cap anymore. As of now I get approx 18-20mpg, once the cap is gone I will have a spray in liner done but the tailgate will still be the "wind blocker." Does it really make a difference in gas mileage or is it minuscule?

I was then thinking of getting a hard plastic lid for the bed if it was easily removable, but have yet to find anything on the internet.... suggestions?

Thanks

I dont think you would see that much of a decrease. The tailgate wont really block the wind because air gets trapped in the bed, like a "bubble" so the bubble acts like a small cap I guess you can say.

Look at 5:30 in this video and it shows what im talking about.
