This is for those who have ever wondered if an F250/F350 3rd brake light would work on a Ranger. Well it does, and looks MUCH better than the Ranger light (IMO). So if you just want something without that 'yellow haze', but not expensive like those LED lamps, try gettin one of these.. I scored a brand new one off of ebay for $35.

Guess I didn't realize they looked that much different. If I didnt have a cap/topper I would probably trade with my dad. Looks good.

someone with a newer ranger go look and see what yours is

 

A newer 04+ isnt gonna have the cargo lamps, it'll be a full red light.

F-250 and F-350 super duty's, Rangers, and Explorer Sport tracs(older version) all share the same 3rd brake light thats been known...

'01 (at least the one i saw) had the same dated cargo lamp setup as you, BJ.

not sure about '02. '03 and newer all have full red.

mad props to BJ for the idea. i'll have them on the site tomorrow.

 

Ask a few with 03 XLT's/ FX4's, I think bob has the cargo lamps? All of the Edge's came with all red lamps

 

ha, 07 sport tracs and those of earlier years are completely different vehicles

what are you talking about? 93-07 ranger 3rd brake lights will bolt into any ranger...

99+ super duty's only will work

99-06 explorer sport tracs will work

 

He may have been talkin about the ~94-96 F150/F250 light, my roomate used to have a 95 and it had a light juuust like mine..
