grille/emblem question

Will an emblem from a 07 grille fit on a 08 grille?
Thanks guys, I searched and didn't find a definite answer.

Part # 8213 "Grille Ornament, Ford Oval"

It's the same Ford part number for every model Ranger from 2004 to 2010

06+ are all the same. 04-05 is different I'm pretty sure.

there is 2 sizes in the 04 to current ranger. 04-05 had a smaller emblem. 06+ had the larger emblem on the "h bar" style grille and the previous smaller emblem on the "stx" style grille.

Yes, I just noticed this. Of course, only after I had removed the badge from my h bar grill. So this stx one is the 7" logo? I'm going to need to find one now.

Here's a pic of the difference, the badge is from my 07 "h bar" and the grille is an 08+ sport or stx (06+) style.

My reference was the Ford Part OEM website. I did an emblem search from 2010 and worked my way down the years till I hit 2003, the first one to have a different part number for the grille emblem. That's how I concluded 2004 and up used the same emblem.

I know the H-Bar grille was put out in 2006 and up, but the emblem (according to Ford Parts) has been the same 7" oval since 2004.

I know there is always a possibility I'm wrong, so if you find out different, please correct me. Ford Parts | Buy Official Motorcraft & Genuine OEM Ford Parts Online | FordParts.com was my resource.

In that case, Ford need to fix their site. The emblems I looked up were listed as "Ranger Models; less STX/Sport" as apposed to the STX models that were clearly listed as "STX/Sport"

After seeing Ryan's picture, the H-Bar emblem is clearly a couple inches larger than the STX's.

Well damn, now I need to know something, Chris, that you would know. Is the emblem different between the H-Bar grille and the Sport grill you had installed on your Ranger before the STX grille?

Chrome H-bar and painted H-bar emblems found on Sports are the same size. Just the STX grille is different.

I know the H-Bars are all the same. I was referring to the Sport grille that Vista had on his truck. It has the chrome surround with black honeycomb insert.

In that case, I need a new emblem as well. I have the honeycomb grille in route for my truck. The chrome H-Bar is just not right, lol.

Does it mount up the same? I'm prepared to modify as needed, but an easy bold on is always welcome.

04-current grille styles are all interchangeable within the year range.

Again, Chris saves my hopes and dreams for my Ranger, lol.

P.S. I've got the OEM emblem for the honeycomb grille coming.

P.P.S. Ryan O, I'm sorry for thread-jacking you, here. I hope you were able to get the answer you were satisfied with before I did so. If not, the floor belongs to you from here on.
