Anyone have an FX4 with a different grille? I don't like the yellow one I have and was curious if anyone is sporting something different...pics please.......

 

you can get the chrome one...or you can switch to the 04-05 (i think some 06+ too) 2 piece grill and get some billet style grilles. there are also some inserts for the gaps in your grille...

 

I'm not digging the chrome, I just think its too much yellow up front. Any suggestions? Its two tone yellow and grey.....plus, that grille is SHARP when cleaning it. I have many battle scars already...LOL

 

hmm...well you can get the grille surround from the two piece and get it painted yellow or grey with a billet grill for the center in black or silver...or get it powdercoated another color...

What years came with the 2 piece grille? I'd like to pick one up and get a black billet grille.

Maybe paint the surround black too...

the 2 piece grilles were on 04-05, and I think they brought them back on the Sport models in 07 i want to say

Redranger8888 has a silver mesh installed behind his grille. I think if you painted it black it might add something. I have thought about doing it before with the mesh and black. Here is his cardomain page:

I like that second pic. So, opinions here. My FX4 is screaming yellow and that dark grey on the bottom.

And with your valance being black I think the STX/Sport grille would look good in black with a yellow surround

My grille is one peice. I can post pics but just imagine foxxys in red.

Foxxy I've seen a couple of the dark grey surrounds on ebay. They looked like the unpainted xl style ones, but close to the color you've got on the bottom. I think you should have it grey on the surround and billet inside, like the stx kind of.

 

I just pulled the chrome H-Bar off my XLT and replaced it with the FX4 grille (same one as Foxxy's) in Red Fire, my truck color. If anyone would like to buy the chrome H-Bar let me know, make an offer. New they are $261 from Ford and best internet from a Ford dealer in Las Vega is $180. I will sell for much less than that.

Foxxy this is the STX grille, and then the surround area you could get painted yellow, if i remember ill try a photoshop with the gray surround and yellow surround with the STX if you want

 

Ahhhh....that would be great if you photoshopped it! WOOHOO!!! I like that grille. I just don't want any bling nor nothing girly. By god, it is a 4X4!
