Has anyone had good luck with aftermarket head light bulbs? I've used Toucan and APC but they always seem to burn out in less than a year. Any suggestions?

 

any bulb that does not use a higher wattage for a brighter light has a thinner filament. they just dont last as long, the average life span for the silverstar bulbs is about a year as well, so what youre experiencing is normal. its a trade off for not having a higher wattage output, which can damage your headlight and harness.

bottom line, your going to have to replace them once a year or go back to normal lights
