I run ultras and find them to be pretty good. Theyre not hids but throw a pretty good distance and really light anything reflective up.

Are your headlight lenses milky/cloudy?

Also you did check and make sure both your bulbs are working right?

Definately do the silverstar ultras. But then properly aim the headlights after you put them in. They're probably all messed up right now anyway.

You just have to trim a corner of the tab to make the 9005s fit, I have them in my fogs right now.

I have 9005s in my fogs too. Just takr a dremel and trim 2 of the tabs and then lock them in the lens.

I just put Ultra headlights in my truck last week and they're fantastic for a halogen bulb.

Depends on the year. Some take a 9145, others take a 9006.

No 01 fog light takes a 9005 stock. You can get it in there but it won't fit like it should.

well, the mazda fogs are different than the ranger ones. that and they suck *** too. they're almost like the 98-00 style fogs, but a little smaller.

If they dont I would assume they woul dbe a 9006. 9006 is usually for low beams and 9005 for high beams, which is why I find it weird you said some take a 9005.

i know this may sound weird, but when i turn the high beams on and push the lever forward and have them stay on its not as bright as if i pull the lever towards me and just hold it..
