I could tell the difference between high/low nice video! BTW your 3.0L sounds good!!!

I still am not satisfied with the video. If I get more time this week I'll take out the real digital video camera (MiniDV) to get a good one. The exhaust is the Dynomax catback plus air silencer removal. Pretty good growl when you get on it but pretty quiet otherwise.

The kit has worked very nicely so far. Still no problems whatsoever. I don't get flashed anymore, so they're aimed right but still plenty bright.

HID lighting is very nice. On your truck (the B-series) I think you have non-clear lenses in the headlight right? If so that will almost always cause a huge glare when using a HID conversion kit. Still can be done as long as you aim them right.

Your Nokya or Eurolite bulbs don't show proper light temperatures. A HID 8000k vs a 8000k halogen will be 1000x different. An HID 8000k will be very blue with a hint of white. I love 6000k because it puts out more light than a 8000k would. Also it's very white with a hint of blue.

3000k is the lowest I've seen for an HID bulb. That's very yellow. Cuts right through fog. Check out Shane's (Fx4wannabe01) thread for pictures.

Cool,thanks for the input. My headlight lenses are clear like a Ranger's, but the fog lights are not, so maybe I shouldn't go HID on the fogs.

My ricer lights may not show the right tempuratures, but at night they light up completely blue, so they look very much like an 8000k HID.

This is actually a question for the op. I thought he said that the turned them 90 degrees to get the highs to appear to be brighter than the lows. The orientation can be seen in the pics. There side by side vertical not horizontal. I'm just curious, since one light lights at a time, which direction he rotated them to make them better. Is the high beam on the top now or on the bottom.

I'm pretty sure that the "high" bulb was on the bottom on each side. The bulbs are physically the same, so you can just plug the appropriate ballast into the appropriate "bulb" like I did. It doesn't matter which way you rotate them at all, just as long as you have the correct bulb lighting at the right time.

To appear brighter isn't the case. The purpose of the rotation was to have further projection of the light beam.

30,000K ? you might as well install a lighthouse bulb.

from personal experience I know that 4300K and 6000K give you the best light output anything higher in number is bad for oncoming drivers and causes fatigue in your eyes at night over long distance driving.

I know what the temps are, 30000k is like pink/violet which has nothing to do with a lighthouse lamp.

i just ordered a bi-xenon kit from http://www.rsi-hid.com for the same price $159.99. All the ebay guy had was 8000K and 10000K which i did not want. So hopefully this set is as good as the ones everyone has bought.

That kit comes with projectors. I'm thinking you have to cut the hell out of the housing to get those in.

thats the kit i got. it comes with the bulbs and ballasts. the other kit that comes with projectors is $450

well i got the kit from www.rsi-hid.com. not happy at all. they are telescopic, not dual bulb. and the ballasts did not work. i tried with my old ballasts and they worked fine, so i know its the ballasts. they do sell a dual bulb kit, but thats $300, not what i want to spend. so i will be returning these.

Crappy. The dual bulb is nice but I don't want to be frying the ballast when I flash at someone.

Just checking up on this - How is your 9007/4 kit holding up on you? Any issues with the ballasts or bulbs being burnt out?

Emailed them to verify it is a true 9007-4 bulb, and not the ripoff 9007-3's and such. I would mod this one in much the same way you did with yours if its viable.

So far, mine has been great, no problems, and no real complaints.

He has them taken out. Im supposed to be the new owner of them soon. Just waitin on him to get back to me.

Whether or not it comes with a relay harness depends on the model of you car. I think the H7's (size) come with it. Im not exactly sure which ones do and which dont.
