Can't find any pictures with them in a taillight.

So I'm looking at a set of these 1157 30 LED replacement bulbs for my tails because mine aren't as bright as they should be. Which they weren't before I tinted them, so now its a little worse.

Has anyone used them and does anyone have any pictures of them in the housing working?

I'm just curious because six bucks for a bulb, I'm not wanting to be disappointed.

I was even looking at the $17 "High Output" bulbs. But I'm not really thinking those will be worth it.

The issue you're going to run into is the bulbs simply do not pronouce themselves much brighter when you have your running lights on and you're making a turn or stopping. The running light is brighter than hell but the Stop light isn't very bright.

Well, I ended up not getting them, I grabbed a set off of ebay, just to see what they might look like.

But they're SMD's and seem like they might work better.

I've oredered these type off of ebay before from the same seller and wasn't dissapointed.

I like the fact these have lights all around so I should get decent light going on inside the housing.

If not then whatever they were only eight bucks shipped.

I'll post back when I get them and give an up date on how they shine and some pictures.

Thanks for the reply.

LED reverse lights suck. I've got some SMD LED reverse lights and they're not near as bright as the stock bulbs. They light up a larger area I'd say but overall light output is much less.

I've also got the 18 SMD brake/tail LEDs (115x-x18-T: 18HP-LED BA15 Tower Bulb) and they're bright as hell from straight behind the truck but from the sides or off at an angle they're not as bright as stock bulbs. The brake light on them is bright as hell though, unlike what one of the previous posters said.

Well, these 60's hopefully will be slightly impressive.

We shall see. They should be here any day, maybe I'll get them with my new GPS mount.

That'd be a good day to check the mail. :-P

Thanks for the input guys, when they get here, I'll post pics.

Alright, got them in, definitely brighter in the daylight, haven't gotten any pictures at night yet.

They still aren't as bright as I need, I'm gonna strip and retint them this weekend.

Pictures tonight when I get out of class.
