Hit again, now need a tailgate

Well. For the second time in two years i got rear ended. Never driving in the rain again. Las Vegas is bad when it rains for the first time in months. Oil builds up a lot. What makes this worse is it was my cousin in his jeep that hit me! Leaving a parking lot he was following me and just slid right into me. Luckily the bumper is fine. Its only 1 1/2 yrs old. So has anyone had luck getting a body shop to match the paint so a new tailgate doesnt stand out?

Matching one shouldn't be a problem... but I agree, check out some yards near you and see if you can find one already silver!

Yeah, I would look for a silver one and I am not sure where to get the 4X4 sticker though, probably the dealer.

I thought about the junk yard route but figured they'd be faded. In the desert heat? Be nice to get a 4x4 silver one ready to go. Yeah it was a crazy freak thing. Can't believe it happened. We were off road earlier sliding around on dirt roads in the rain. Never thought a 15MPH parking lot would be the scene of a accident. He's got a huge bumper bar that come up real high and thats what hit me. It was so slick when it first started raining red light to red light it was hard to get moving in the truck. Still not sure how he didnt stop behind me thou. ahhhhhhh. Just paid it off a week ago too. LOL. He's buying it so i'll look for a good one. Thanks guys.
