How do people run the wires for a backup camera?

I've got a 2010 Mazda B2300 and it's time .. past time .. for a backup camera.

I've bought one, I like it, it will work fine.

Wiring presents no problem, I'm an electronics guy.

But where and how do I run the single skinny wire from back to front is a question.

And how do I get the wire inside the cab? I'd rather not drill a hole if there's a better way I haven't found.

And is this doable on my back in the driveway? The ONLY place with a hoist within six hours is a business that's said "No! Insurance liability!".

Thanks for any thoughts or advice.

Alan

I ran mine along the frame, wrapped in split loom and anchored with UV-resistant (black) zip ties.

How did you get it from inside the cab to the outside?

Drilled a hole in the firewall. Sprayed it with paint and inserted a grommet before any wires run through it.

Did you do it on a hoist or on your back?
