My driver's side fog light filled up with moisture and something inside rusted because the lens has a nasty orange tint going now. I've been trying to figure out how to get the fog light assembly out for about an hour and I'm having some real trouble with it. I think I need to take off the whole lower valance but I can't figure out how. Ive looked on the forums and google searched it and the only description I found was very vague on how to remove it. Any ideas or tips on how to remove this thing so I can clean out my fog light housing? Its a 2000 by the way and has the oval shaped fog lights if that's any help.

 

it is very difficult in my opinion u have to pop out each of the clips from the bumper. "not fun"

 

you valence just snaps off the bumper. snap on, snap off.

I've taken the bumper off before. There are like 8 or 10 bolts connecting the lower valance to the upper valance on the top, inside of the bumper.

 

not on a 2000....



98-00 just snap right onto the bumper.

01-05 theres bolts and the EDGE models and 4x4 models have clips on the outside edge on the bumper.

 

97 and before is like 8 or so bolts from the inside of the bumper
