Hello,

I was just given a 2001 Ford Ranger extended cab 4cylinder stepside. I can't stand the look of the stepside and would like to switch it to a regular bed and lower the truck a couple inches on some mustang wheels 17-18's. How difficult is it to switch the beds? Is there a FAQ or how to thread on here?

its super easy....all you need is the bed, correct filler neck and bumper

 

I switched beds on my ranger and we never changed filler necks. Everything was fine afterwards and I went from stepside to fleetside. Just got the bed and bumper.

 

i always though you had to get the filler neck too...guess not
