my 99 4x4 needs a new front bumper/ plus i dont like the chrome front end look on white paint. will a 2001 + bumper fit my ranger with no problems? or where can i find a paintable front bumper with foglights at?

 

yes an 01-05 bumper will bolt up to your 99, you will need a valence as well


also, there are painted bumpers for the 99, not jsut chrome

 

do you have pics of a bumper and valance from an 01.. i guess i thought it was all one piece.

Just go to www.ebaymotors.com and look at Rangers there.

You will have to replace fewer parts if you just change the truck into a "Sport" model. You just need a paintable front bumper and grille to do that. If you want the truck to look exactly like an Edge, you need new headlights, a new grille, bumper, valence, hood and header panel (I think).

 

well i am not really concerned if it looks exactly like an edge. just curious if an edge hood would fit or not. are there any pics around of a 98-2000 ranger with edge parts on it?

oh wait, i already did, i have a 04 edge bumper and 03 edge hood on my 2001 xlt and a 2001 edge bumper coming for my 99

 

Ok, so the reverse should be true as well - if there is a funcitonal cowl hood for a 98-00 Ranger it should bolt right on to an 03 right?
