late night work
so this afternoon i was bored off my **** and decided to do something useful and time consuming. good bye pinstripes and blue ford emblem...
kinda F'd up on my emblem.. didnt heat it enuf and ripped half the FORD part right out of the plastic, so i spent some crazy time sanding the silver paint, and ive got some interesting ideas for this emblem, im thining blue where it used to be chrome and white where it used to be blue
who ever said you shouldnt use a razorblade to remove pins just didnt have the patience to try it! no hairdryer or goo off sofar and the drivers side is done, only took me an hour lol and theres no scratches

Looks alot better man.
As for the razor blade it is still not a good Idea. You probably do have some minor scratches that are hidden because the truck is white. With dark metalic colors it can go south pretty quick, especialy on newer trucks and how soft the clear coats are.
Keep up the good work

Then I went and got my sister's hair dryer and used it. Everything came off SO easy, and left little to no of that sticker residue. I wish I had done the whole thing that way, it was so easy.
Seems like a cool idea for the Ford emblem

well since i havent posted an update on my latenight workings.. here ya go
some progress on the emblem but i already know this one is coming out fubar'd so i decided to do it anyway to see what my next one will look like :
painted my lock pin things to match the rest of the interior:
and sneaky me got ahold of some R-F stickers w/o being a contributor. woot!
