Lifted 06

On my way to school this morning I saw a 06 sport just like mine, but in black, spindal lifted. It was probably the cleanest looking lifted ranger I have seen yet. Believe it or not, the new 06-07 grills look a lot better off the ground than on a stock ranger. Anyways, I just thought I would share that because I haven't seen any 06's lifted besides this one.

I'm suprised no one on here has lifted their 06-07. I will get pics when I eventually lift mine, but that won't be for another year. By the time I lift it, those 08's will be out and no one will care about my 06.

I'm in MV too and I've seen that 06 around. That guy has way too mouch money, and dang!!! is that thing ever clean. The only thing I don't like is that this guy blacked out some perfectly good 06-07 tails.

It looks like his headlights were blacked out too, but I may be mistaking. Cool that your also from Mission Viejo. Was that a kid driving it? If it was, these kids around here are getting richer every day. I can barely afford just my truck payment and insurance. If you drive by trabuco hills their is a kid with a late F-250 with the banks exhaust system on it. Damn spoiled kids.

It's all how you choose to spend your money. Yeah they may be better well off, but assuming they are spoiled is BS. A lift costs what $2,000 for tires, wheels, and the lift installed. For someone living at home working full time in southern cali $2K isn't THAT much.

Oh yeah, I may be lifting my 06 in the next two months or so.... depends on how comfy I feel with my warranty.

Yeah, I go to school with all of these kids, and let me tell u. It's not just the cars its everything. They couldnt be anymore spoiled by their rich parents. I'm at Tesoro, and we have nothing but Bimmers, saleen and roush. And its not like the parents are just letting the kids drive their cars, parents are actually giving them the cars.

Did you pay for your brand new truck? I don't even want to think about what I was driving when I went to highschool.

^true story

its not so much that they get nice *** cars that pisses me off(cuz if you have money... why not) its the fact that when the douchers crash the car and immediately get a newer and better one that pisses me off

The "damn spoiled kids" part was more of a joke by me expressing my jealousy that they already can get into those cars and drive to school everyday. Honestly, we don't know their circumstances They could have been saving up since they were very young for a vehicle and afforded it that way. If their parents however just give them the vehicle, then that's another story.

I'm waiting on lifting my truck too because of the warranty.

Yeah I guess ur right I can't talk when it comes to gettin new cars, cause I got one. But still there is no way I am nearly as spoiled as these kids. Then again don't forget that if I wanna take it to college with me I'm gonna have to start payin for it.

I payed for mine. I pay for all my stuff besides rent to live at home. I'm only 19 so I definately feel financially independent already. Unfortunately for the time being, trying to succeed in school is limiting my work hours, and thus limiting my income.

There is nothing wrong with your parents buying you a new vehichle that is dependable to get you where you need to go. As long as it's not a freakin bmw or mercedez.

I do agree that a bmw would be too much for a parent to buy a kid, but what is "wrong" about it? If I had money to throw around I would rather have my kid driving a BMW rather than a ford focus just for safety reasons alone.

I pay $375 a month on a six year loan. I got raped on my payments because I wa so upside down from my two previous daily drivers. On top of that, I'm paing $134 a month for insurance, $175 a month for gas, $50 a week for food, and a $50 cell phone bill. All this and I only work 25 hours a week. Luckliy I make a good hourly rate or I would be screwed. I get pissed when anyone tries to call me spoiled because besides rent, I pretty much pay for everything including presents for my girlfriend, her parents, my parents, and other family.

Heheheheheheh, my first ride was a 1975 ragtop cutlass.

Wanna car payment? My Subaru is over 600 a month because I don't like to finance things long. I don't think I have had a car payment lower than 550 in more than 5 years.

Damn, thats crazy. The largest I have seen is my moms bosses car payment. She is a admin. assistant so she likes to share with me some of his expenses being that he is the CEO. One of his car payments is like $1500 a month.

I went to highschool with a kid that has a older body style super duty with a 6inch lift and 37" with an 06 front conversion that his parents bought for him and the sad thing is hes tore the he.. out of that truck.
Me im 18 and have a brand new truck that i pay 459.50 a month for and 210.00 for insurence plus phone, gas, food and ever other necessity of life, and most importanly my mods. In my opinion its one thing to buy your kid a new vehical but its another to pay for everything that gets done to it. The majority of kids now days have no responsabilitys.

Definately. Even though I pay for my truck, my dad still gives me **** every time I want to do something to it. Lifting it right now is out of the question for him. I guess its good in a way that he is trying to look out for my best interest in case something happens to my daily driver, but he should also start to learn that I am going to cover the cost of whatever happens to it. I have many other methods of transportation if something happens, and I will suffer the consequences of the choices I make, while the truck is being repaired. I wish he would just understand that. I'm almost 20 now and have been a extremely responsible son and just don't get why I am still being babied. Sorry for the long "blow-off valve" comment I just made.
