Light Bar / Roll Bar ???

Where can you find a 80s STX push bar and roll bar?
Is there a store that sells them?

yes, you are going to have to do a lot to your truck so it looks like a 4x4 stx highboy. also, your truck is a 2wd. your going to lift it?

Ehh, you could try browsing local classifieds daily.

I found a local seller with two '89 STX's; one of which had a push bar/brush guard that I scored for $25 (but need a little love).

Doesn't it currently look like it......or is it just me? Guess you changed your avatar to a pic of your current Ranger.

First off.......lose the topper and ladder. Gonna need some flap style mirrors or newer style ones. Maybe some bigger tires and nice rims.

Gonna need a lot of work, but it's definatly a good project truck.

Looking at the pics, This is what's obvious to me (and probably to you):

-paint your front end's chroms accents black - $30 of rattle cans or $700 maaco job to do the whole truck
-hunt, hunt, hunt, and hunt junkyards for a brush guard (or fab your own)...make it silver and add lights- $50-$250
-4x4 blocks, u-bolts, and 4x4 shocks in the rear (get these off a used stx for cheap) - $30-$60
-2" coils in the front or factory spacers - $20-$150
-15x7 bullit style aluminum wheels w' 235x75x15 all terrain tires and raised white lettering
-hunt, hunt, hunt, or fab your own roll bar and add square lights - $$??$$

-lose the rainbow stickers

I'd say the roll bar is your toughest and most expensive feat. Is that it?

hey, any updates on this project?

I'm throwing in the towel and going to buy a tacoma down the road.

this is as far as I got with mine:

Name: rollbarparkside.jpg
Views: 9465
Size: 55.0 KB

it has:
-235x75x15 tires on gen1 STX 15x7 wheels
-factory STX push bar with brush guard attachments
-universal off-road lights on the push bar
-universal grizzly roll bar w' universal rectangular driving lights

All that I really had left to do was lift the thing 3.5" and I would've gotten the STX look.
