I got long rectangular reflectors...same idea as you, only different! I like it! I;m gonna need to do something like that to the new Splash!

great idea for people wanting the extra "reflectors" back there. But it does not fully resemble the Line Of Fire, as it works with your tailights and turn signals.

No kiddin'..but it's cheap and does the job. Who cares.

Rigid relflectors will work, they are just harder to trim to size. I was also worried that there may be a clearance issue with the tailgate.
Also, reflectors don't illuminate like conspicuity tape, since they have more depth.
