Yep, got these in the mail today! finally my mom sent them! from what i here, i was one of the lucky last few that got the 150W before they discontinued them.. so ive got 4 of them:)..

so what do i need to get before wiring these bad boys up? oh, theres 2 130W driving lights on the grill gaurd, so in total,

4 150W LR lights
2 130W driving lights

... think the stock wiring/alternator can handle this?

 

sure, why not? mine does... just dont turn them on while the truck aint running.

what do you think? i know i am getting a carr light bar for the roof and am going to modify it to fit as close as poss to the roof..

 

nice set of lights you know you can still get the kc light bar for on the roof you dont need to get the car one

 

really? everyone was saying that the kc one was discontinued? Is there a difference in the two? and thanks btw..

idk i was told a while ago on here that this was the kc light bar like the old one. i think stone told me it was since he had one.

I'd call them before I ordered it. I know sites will say they have it, but then they really don't.

Also, check to see what amp alternator you have. I have the 130amp and as long as the truck is running, my amps don't drop down below 13 volts.

Wheres he spposed to mount the lights if he doesn't get a lighbar? all 6 on his bumper??? that would look hideous.

 

A rollbar or something. But those light bars, kc/carr?, that mount on top of the cab bring the suck!!

The discontinued lights are the KC Rally 8" 150w ones like I have - Big lights, throw a huge beam of light a long long ways - fantastic.. I -may- be getting rid of them in the near future though if anyone is curious... have some different plans for my front end involving a few pieces of 2" right angle steel and lots more lights

 

see that is something that i want! But, the shipping to germany on one of those since its one piece is like 500 bucks or more! not really worth it for 6 months IMO.. i may just buy this kids headache rack and put them on top of that.. not sure yet..

yes lol it is.. dont use the dvd player portion anymore though.. i only use the BR player..

haha.. i really want to get a roll bar for her, but the shipping on one is just so damn outragous! although, i havnt been able to find one for less than 400, so Thanks to Seed60, I may just be able to bear some shipping cost if i can get that one.. i figure if i spend 150 bucks on the bar, then ~350 for shipping, im spending about what it would cost for a new one.. which is what i was going to spend anyways lol..

 

Same here. I use my ps3 to play my blu rays and the Panasonic for the surround sound.

 

Let me know about shipping and If I can't get ahold of the guy I know selling one I'll sell ya mine and just find another one down the road for me. I'll be gone for 6-8 months anyway so I won't be able to use it. Your going to have to fab up a bar like mine so you can mount more then 2 lights on it. Its getting powdercoated gloss black now because I didn't like the result of the last attempt.
