Lost Camper, Bedliner, Painted Wheels
Lost Camper, Bedliner, Painted Wheels
So I Sold my camper top yesterday, for cash plus the guy spray lined my bed, since I had the stock bedliner still. Then I came home and my lil bro and I decided to take off my wheels and paint them flat black since the chrome was peeling. I love it, just need to clean it now. Sorry bout the cell phone pics. Willl look better clean.
Im hoping the paint lasts, but I will eventually probably get the wheels sandblasted and black powdercoated. Let me know what you think.

And yes I know, I need some bigger meats and a spindle lift, but Im doin my best! The rear lifted some without the camper I think.
I also wanna do the headlight mod and paint me emblems black. Anyone know how to get my emblems off without damaging them?

OMG it looks completely different. it's crazy. I mean not in a bad way haha.
I'd venture to say that you will be wanting to repaint the wheels prolly before the year is over. A buddy of mine had a '89 Camaro RS with the stock wheels. He painted them black and ran gold-colored lugs...didn't look too bad, as it was a black car, 5% limo tint on the doors and hatch, and he ran blackwall tires. I think he had to repaint his about once a year to keep them looking nice.
Powdercoat will be stronger, and IMO, better looking than just paint.
