Lower Valence on Edge
Lower Valence on Edge
Is it illegal to drive without the lower valence on my edge? I am switching up my truck, going to try to build it to a pre runner, and I have switched up my back suspension so I have lowered my torsion bars up front to sit the front end down, and there is no way the valence will fit now without rubbing crazily. So I took it off, hopefully going to get a skid plate to cover my radiator or a full on bumper soon, just don't have the money right now..
So I just wanted to know if it is illegal to drive without a valence on? Thanks
and what about rear bumpers? I had a stepside and finally found someone who sold me there regular bed. My bumper is to short, so for now that is off too, until I can build one.
Thanks for any and all help!

I've been driving around without a bumper and valance for 6 months now with no problems. Gotten stopped by the cops a couple times for license checks and such they didn't say anything. NC laws might be different though.
I took mine off last night. I only had 4 screws left holding it after that fight with a street sign. lol
I don't see why you would have any problems. But yeah NC laws could be different.

i live in henderson so i think your good, because I always see pre runner trucks with no front bumper or rear bumper. just make sure u have your plates some where. i dont have them in the front and never got in trouble. in all i think your good.
